WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — A well-known used-car dealership owner in North Carolina is facing multiple fraud charges.
Willard “Tim” Sutton, who owns a dealership in Winterville, was arrested and charged on Wednesday by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said multiple auto dealerships reported selling him vehicles that he attempted to pay for with fraudulent checks.
