One in 10 cars arriving through Queensland’s busiest port is a biosecurity time bomb carrying a range of potentially dangerous contaminants.
Minister for Infrastructure Catherine King says the former government left Australia’s biosecurity system without “funding certainty” needed to do its job. Ms King said the Labor had been left to “clean up” the mess of the “irresponsible and reckless” previous government.
