A man waiting to cross the street has come within metres of being struck by a car that lost control while apparently speeding on a Brisbane road.
The pedestrian was narrowly missed by the car but suffered a leg injury in the incident on Mains Rd in Sunnybank about 10pm on Sunday.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a stable condition.
