A police officer has been stabbed in the shoulder after attending a job in Rothwell, north of Brisbane this morning.

Emergency services were called to a Rothwell address about 9.25am, in relation to a reported disturbance.
It will be alleged a 30-year-old man at the Jones Street address was armed with a knife, and stabbed a male senior constable in the shoulder.
