The mother of Brisbane Broncos star Payne Haas is recovering in hospital after being involved in a two-car crash, which killed three people south of the Gold Coast.
The victims, aged 79, 70 and 34, were all part of the same family in one car and died at the scene.
The incident began when Queensland Police noticed a black 2017 Mercedes GLS 63 wagon allegedly driving dangerously along Bonogin Road near Calanthe Lane, in Bonogin, about 5pm.
