A pedestrian is fighting for life in hospital after he was struck by a car on a footpath in Brisbane’s north early on Wednesday.
It is understood he was on the footpath when the incident occurred about 5.35.
Queensland Police Service said Melton Rd near Dethridge St was closed “due to a serious traffic crash” and to expect delays.
