A retired Queensland teacher sent a late-night text message that gave no sign of anything being amiss in the hours before her body mysteriously ended up in a bin on her street.
Lesley Trotter’s final message to a neighbour and friend referred to her impending move into a retirement village as being “hectic and stressful”, but said that they would see each other soon.
A family member said Trotter’s high standards may have “led to her demise”.
