Electric and hybrid car sales are on the rise as the Biden administration proposes tougher greenhouse gas emissions for cars and trucks sold in the U.S. Nearly 98 thousand hybrid vehicles were sold in the U.S. in April 2023, which is up over 36% from last year, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Library reports.
