A crime scene has been established at Liverpool Westfield in Sydney’s west after an electric car on display hit and injured two shoppers.
The shopping centre was thrown into chaos on Saturday afternoon after a BYD vehicle displayed as part of a promotion on an upper level suddenly set into motion.
Authorities were told the SUV first accelerated forward, smashing a glass panel, before reversing and crashing into the shopfront of a Myer and driving into the store.
