Police have launched a homicide investigation after a 70-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a shopping centre car park in Ipswich, near Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the Town Square Redbank Plains car park at about 6.10pm on Saturday following reports of the stabbing.
The woman had sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene a short time later.
