Police have revealed a 45-year-old man who allegedly injured four police officers while trying to avoid arrest is part of a father-and-son crime duo who allegedly stole the vehicle used during the incident.

The truck was alleged to have been stolen from the TyreRight yard in Oakey overnight, along with a Toyota HiLux, the thieves using the vehicles to ram the gates to escape.
