Chinese EV insurance registrations for week ending Mar 10: Nio 2,000, Xpeng 1,800, Li Auto 9,300, Tesla 13,200

BYD’s EV insurance registrations in China last week were 49,100, Aito was 8,500 and Zeekr was 1,900.

For the week of March 4-10, Nio (NYSE: NIO) had 2,000 vehicle insurance registrations in China, down 44.44 percent from 3,600 in the previous week, according to figures shared today by its local counterpart Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI).

Li Auto has routinely shared these numbers on Tuesday afternoons since May 2023.
