Brisbane Airport’s waiting area, in which drivers could park for up to 30 minutes free while they waited to pick up arriving passengers, will close next month to make way for a $90 million expansion of the multi-level car park.
Work on the new building, with spaces for about 1700 cars, will begin soon, between the existing car park and the Ibis and Pullman hotels near the domestic terminal.
