The styling is fairly reserved. It’s immediately recognisable as a 5-Series and clever detail work (flat underside, active vents, aero wheels etc) has given it a coefficient of drag of just 0.23. The bane of many recent BMWs – an oversized, rococo grille – has been tempered, though this shiny, blacked-out effort still isn’t what most would call beautiful.
