More than 100 cars left abandoned at Sydney Airport

It’s believed most of the cars have been abandoned at Sydney Airport by travellers who use the vehicles to tour Australia and leave them there before returning home.

It’s not the first time the airport has taken to the newspaper to warn owners, but before the pandemic, the notices were smaller and featured much fewer vehicles. There were 60 in March 2010, and 29 in 2011. In 2018, there were 61 abandoned cars.
