Police have closed off a part of a major arterial road south of Brisbane after two car crashes in the area in which three people were taken to hospital.

Five ambulances were called to parts of Yarrabilba and Logan Village this morning just after 7am when two cars collided on Waterford-Tamborine Rd outside the Green Frog Hollow Cafe near Tempera Place.
